No, You can safely deactivate the free version and install the pro version. All database (campaigns and banners) entries will remain

I’m interested in purchasing your Ad Changer Pro plugin for WP, but I have a question prior to purchase. Your site says the license is for one site, and I’m wondering how my situation would apply -> I’d like to install the plugin on my test site, add contents, test it to make sure and then move it to the client’s site. Effectively, the plugin would be used on the client’s website only, after this initial phase. So my question is whether my situation would fall within you license policy?

Answer:

Yes, test sites are not counted in the purchased license.

We do support scheduling and also days picking and you can run multiple campaigns

Yes, Each ad can have a weight in percentage. All ads in the group will total together in 100%

You can allocate several ads per one page, each of them can be generated from a different campaign or the same campaign

Ad changer statistics module support detailed information on the number of clicks and impressions per campaign / advertiser. Information also includes the exact page where the ad appeared, server domain & date and time

This can easily be generated from the statistics stored in the ad changer database. You can also download all relevant information in CSV file.

Yes. You can define a campaign to rotate banners included on the client side where the banner is displayed. You can also set the rotation effect, the transition time and switch interval

Yes. Per each banner you can define variations. This means that we detect the screen size of the client accessing the site and based on that determine which banner to serve. In case you didn’t uploaded variations per each banner we also support resizing the banner based on the size of the screen or the container it is located within

Sure. The plugin comes with a widget to support sidebar and you can use it to insert banners everywhere using a shortcode / php code

Make sure you deactivate the free version before installing the pro version. Also the Pro version comes in two part, Server Plugin and a Client Plugin. The server plugin already includes the client plugin inside it so they should not be installed on the same site. You can install the client plugin on other WP sites you have and connect to the site where the server plugin is installed to retrieve you campaign information

The server plugin already includes the client plugin inside it so the Server Plugin and the Client Plugin should not be installed on the same site. You can install the client plugin on other WP sites you have and connect to the site where the server plugin is installed to retrieve you campaign information

The server also acts as a client, this means that you need to install the server plugin on one site and on all the others only the client plugin. On the one running the server you can use the shortcodes in the same way as you use on the clients

You need to use one of the sites as a server (and on this site you need to install the Server plugin only !). On all the other sites you need to install the client plugin. The server plugin has all the functionality of the client plugin so you can run the ads also on the same site where the server plugin is located

The links from the Ad located in the site where the plugin is installed (Ad Changer Client Plugin) goes directly to the offer destination. However in the background we have a process running from the Ad located in the site where the plugin is installed to the Ad Changer server which send related data about the connection (in case it was clicked or even for each impression)

In case the Ad Changer client is working in Responsive mode, the connection to the Ad Changer Server is done before showing the Ad itself since the server need to figure out which ad to serve in case the Ad has several variations each adjusted to another screen size. But also in this case the Ad will contain a link directly to the offer destination

One of the main reasons for this is a missing module in the PHP installation

Check if you have GD library installed
http://php.net/manual/en/image.installation.php

In case it is not. Please contact your server admin and ask him to install the GD support on the php. This will solve the issue we are now seeing with the Ad Changer

The GD is responsible to handle graphic files and without it the Ad Changer can not work. GD is a common library used in many plugins and applications and is safe to install

GD is an important module which is needed to be used in order to allow the Ad Changer to process the images.

To check if it is installed on your server you my use one of hte following options
By Code – See http://www.websitecamp.com/check-php-gd-library-installed-or-not
With a Plugin – Install PHPInfo plugin – http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-php-info/

The fact that it shows the shortocode without parsing it means that the header does not use the content filter.

Use the following php
do_shortcode(‘

No campaign with ID: 1 on the server!
‘);
Ref in here http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/do_shortcode

You can also use the following option
$ads_content =’

No campaign with ID: 1 on the server!
‘;
$ads_content = apply_filters(‘the_content’, $ads_content );
echo $ads_content;
